About IEG

IEG Global Association (IEG) is founded in 2012. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we provide students with financial challenges to receive equal opportunities to participate in all of our Programs. At IEG, we strive to make a difference in this world via education.

We understand there are numerous so-called “short-term top university programs”, where in fact, they are mere “short-term vacation tours”. IEG works directly with top universities to develop challenging programs for students. We don’t believe grades should be the only key indicator on whether you could attend these programs, but more on whether you have the “passion to learn and excel”. Therefore, if you are someone who has a lot of passion to learn and excel, we welcome you to apply to one of our programs!

In addition, as the certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award, IEG is honored to present this award to our outstanding students every year and we encourages everyone to actively participate in community work to serve others.

Our Vision

Since 2012, we have been a fully self-funded 501(c)(3), and try our best to build a promising future for the next generations around the globe. Our mission is to continue to assist bright young students from economically disadvantaged families to receive quality-learning experiences that will arm them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in their communities.

Program Development (PD) Department

Responsibilities:
1. Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
2. Assist PD Department to complete tasks of translation and archiving various documents and promotional materials.
3. Assist PD Department to complete proofreading and revision of various documents in both Chinese and English language.
4. Assist PD Department to develop, plan, and execute a variety of internal/external events.
5. Assist PD Department to promote products, conduct market research, perform data analysis, and other work assigned by the supervisor.

Design Department

Responsibilities:
1. Assist graphic design, production and other graphic processing work.
2. Assist producing various branding & marketing materials and other printed materials. 3. Assist graphic design of WeChat official account.
4. Assist contacting collaborators and associates to ensure the quality of various types of projects/work.
5. Assist proofreading of all designed works.
6. Other related art and design work.

HR Department

Responsibilities:
1. Law-related majors, and with a solid understanding of commercial law, contract law, industrial & commercial law, and advertising law is a plus.
2. Assist drafting contracts and legal terms of contracts.
3. Provide consultation and data collection on relevant issues related to corporate law. 4. Assist colleagues in the implementation of other related tasks.

Technology Department

Responsibilities:
1. Computer Science related majors, with a solid understanding of coding and app development is a plus.
2. Assist making sure the right functions of the official website and our mobile app.
3. Assist designing and developing new versions of iOS or Android for our app.
4. Assist colleagues in the implementation of other related tasks.

General Requirements:

1. Current high school students for this online internship (9th graders are welcomed to apply).
2. Strong Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
3. Experience in participating in extracurricular activities is preferred.

4. Interviews will be required.

1. Receive an internship certificate from the Columbia Business School VFA Program.
