【活動簡介｜由來】
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards（簡稱：RYLA）是國際扶輪在世界各地的扶輪社針對14歲至30歲之間青年舉辦的訓練活動，通常包括研討會、訓練營或工作坊，故青年得以學習領導能力及關心社會。
【辦理方式】
在強調國際觀的現代，青年對於在地之關注，似乎不比過去強烈。更甚者，亦欠缺「探究與實作」的能力。有鑑於此，今年的RYLA將圍繞在「解決社會問題」；讓青年對我國現在發生之地區議題有所了解，並藉議題研究與企劃行動，真正地讓學員將所學運用於社會，並賦予其改變社會之機會。如此，方能達成扶輪「服務」與「回饋」的精神。

Sophie is a second-year psychology student minoring in law and economics at the University of Amsterdam and currently shoulders the role of Marketing Director at 180 Degrees Consulting Amsterdam and Project Intern at Skyline TW.
Born and raised in Taiwan to a British father and a Taiwanese mother, she has always experienced life from a dual-perspective. This upbringing sparked the traveller at heart and she has since roamed 30 odd countries, an exchange year in Spain and subsequently lived in England to complete higher education. Because of her outgoing and adventurous personality, she is eager to experience whatever she can dip her fingers into, including student associations, non-profit organisations, events and internships in various fields. She has attempted finance, product-marketing, retail, animal welfare, legal research and now stubbled into the field of consulting. Aside from work, Sophie is always up for some type of activity, whether that is sports, arts, food or learning something new, so, pretty much anything!
